Richard “Ricky” Bowen is a lead character in the Disney+ Original Series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Portrayed by Joshua Bassett, Ricky is the son of Lynne and Mike Bowen and best friend of Big Red. In seasons 1 and 2, he played Troy Bolton in the fall production of High School Musical and Prince Adam/The Beast in the spring production of Beauty and the Beast, respectively. In season 3, he played Kristoff in Camp Shallow Lake’s production of Frozen.
