Bethesda Game Studios, the company behind the popular game series Fallout and The Elder Scrolls, is set to release its highly anticipated space-themed action role-playing game, Starfield, on September 6, 2023, for Microsoft Windows and Xbox Series X/S. Active development of Starfield began in late 2015, after the release of Fallout 4. By mid-2018, the game had moved out of pre-production and was in a playable state.
